Christina Krys Huber lives in Berlin, Germany and Basel, Switzerland. Using media such as painting, writing, video, and performance, they explore current social, political, and mental influences that shape experiences of longing, memory, and suppression. In particular, they are interested in the physical and sensory aspects and how these determine our perception. Krys’s works have been shown at Kunstraum Display in Berlin and Zurich during ZAW, Biennale für Freiburg 2, Kunst(zeug)haus Rapperswil, Tate Exchange Tate Modern in London, among others. Their graduate project was nominated in 2021 for the President’s Prize of the UdK Berlin as well as the Elsa Neumann Scholarship (Nafög).
